Data Flow Task in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
The Data Flow task encapsulates the data flow engine that moves data between sources and destinations, which enables the user to transform, clean, and modify data as it is moved. Data Flow Task or DFT is a part of control flow that can have a number of DFTs in it. Data flow task enables importing of multiple data sources into a centralized destination, performs multiple data transformations in parallel & outputs to multiple diverse destinations.
