The BREAK command allows us to break objects into multiple parts. We can break objects and leave the end points coincident or we can break an object and remove a section of the object. The BREAK command is often confusing because when you use it, it looks like nothing was done or it is not clear how to accurately set the end points for the removed segment. This video clearly shows the use of the command.
