In this video, we'll explore how to combine the power of Windmill.dev low-code apps, Python automation, and the Paramiko SSH module, to build a simple GUI around LXD on Linux! This simple web GUI app will allow you to see and delete virtual machines, running atop an Ubuntu Linux server with LXD installed. 🐍

In order to retrieve information about LXD VMs, we'll use the Paramiko module to connect to a Linux server via SSH, run a CLI command, and return the raw data in JSON. Once the data is stored in the Windmill.dev app, we can use a few, simple lines of JavaScript to select a few, key properties and display them in a Table component. Each data row in the Table component will include a clickable button, which will delete the selected virtual machine from the remote Linux server! 🐧
