Freediving with Eagle Rays
Flying with the angels of the sea. This is a small taste of a moment I’ve dreamed of ever since I learned these animals existed as a kid. Spotted Eagle Rays in The Bahamas can be some of the most difficult to get close encounters with repeatedly due to their shy nature. Being able to spend an hour freediving with this small group, without scaring them away is the result of observing them in the water for years across different islands. The big dream moment with these animals is one I hope to be able to show in one of the future underwater films that I’ve been working on for a few years.
