ABSTRACT: Driver Drowsiness detection using Raspberry pi image processing
Now a day’s every system is automated in order to face new challenges. In the present days Automated systems have fewer manual operations, flexibility, reliability and accurate. Due to this demand every field prefers automated control systems. Especially in the field of electronics automated systems are giving good performance.
The main aim of this project is to alert the vehicle driver to avoid accidents when the driver was detected drowsy by using Pi Camera. As this project uses the Pi Camera, so that the vehicle driver gets alerts through buzzer alarm system.
This project makes use of a raspberry pi, which is programmed, with the help of open cv and image processing. This Raspberry Pi is capable of communicating with input and output modules. The Pi Camera provides the information to the Raspberry Pi (on board computer). The Raspberry Pi is interfaced with Buzzer, Pi Camera. This System alerts the driver through buzzer.
