In this video, I built a simple but practical QR Code Generator as a real-world frontend project.
The goal wasn’t to over-engineer things, but to focus on clean UI, API integration, and building something that actually works end-to-end. This project helped me reinforce how small utility apps are structured and how frontend apps consume external APIs.
What this app does:
Generates QR codes instantly from user-provided URLs
Uses a public API instead of generating QR codes manually
Keeps the UI minimal and user-friendly
Tech stack used:
HTML – app structure
CSS – clean and minimal styling
JavaScript – handling user input and API calls
Dub.co QR API – generating QR codes
The app is deployed using GitHub Pages, keeping the setup simple and lightweight.

This video is part of my build-in-public journey, where I share real projects, decisions, and learnings instead of just tutorials. If you’re a developer looking to grow through practical projects and understand how small apps are built in the real world, this one’s for you.
