In this video I'm showing how you can set a thumbnail using the Youtube API with Python. But first I'm explaining what the current code for uploading a video via the Youtube API and Python. After that I show you how you can set the thumbnail via the Youtube API for an existing video.
In the end I'll share my findings while coding the Youtube API calls for setting a thumbnail with Python.
One finding is the daily units you have for accessing the Youtube API and how much uploading a video and setting a thumbnail via the Youtube API "costs".
Please don't forget to verify your Youtube Account for uploading thumbnails through the Youtube API with Python. Otherwise this won't work. Also you need a Google Developer Account with the OAuth2.0.
