Create a Basic Platformer in 3 Minutes - Gamemaker Tutorials
This was supposed to be a short but the aspect ratio is wrong for that. In this video I show you the process to go from a blank project to a functioning platformer in under 3 minutes. I get some basic input, calculate movement, do some basic collisions, and then apply the movement. This is obviously not a completed game but rather the building block to get started.
