Beginner JavaScript Project - Form Validation and Error Handling
When you start trying to build your own projects in JavaScript without the aid of a tutorial, it can be tempted to try build a full website or application. This is not necessary! Your aim is to practice your new JS skills in "the wild", not to impress an employer with a spectacular portfolio piece.
Web forms are a brilliant place to start. You can practice so many of your fundamentals with a simple HTML form and a submit event listener.
From using different types of validation, to effectively handling error messaging, there is a lot you can do with forms.
I highly recommend this if you are a beginner looking for a project to start working on.
