Application Baselining HTTP Firewall
In the previous article I covered setting up and testing your computer for performance and application testing. In this article I will install and configure IIS, generate a certificate and prepare the folder as well as document the effects of the firewall service.
The client applications that I will use is; Chrome web browser, Internet Explorer, wget and Wireshark. The goal is to observe what the applications report when the webserver and Firewall is disabled.
This exercise is very important since it will give you a correlation between what the application reports, how the application behaves when the server is down and what that looks like at the packet level. The .......
