Install GitHub CLI and Authenticate for Codespaces
In this video, we install and configure the GitHub CLI so you can connect VS Code and GitHub Codespaces for your Arista cEOS lab environment.
You will learn how to:
• Install gh on Mac, Windows, and Linux
• Verify installation and add gh to your path
• Authenticate gh with your GitHub account using HTTPS
• Enable multi-factor authentication for secure access
Once setup is complete, you will be ready to create and manage Codespaces directly from VS Code for your Arista cEOS lab.
