Python range Function | Mastering Range for Python Beginners
range is a Python function that generates a range of numbers. It doesn't generate a list of numbers, or any of the other built-in container types you are you to, range is both a function and a type of value. If you only specify one value to the range function, you generate a range of numbers from zero to one before the end value you specify. If you specify two values, you generate a range of numbers starting at the first number and stopping one short of the last number. If you specify three values, you still do the same start and stop business, but the third value determines how much of a step their is between each value. This value is one by default if you don't specify it. range is one of Python's 71 built-in functions. The proper audience for this video is beginner Python programmers.
