Wife learns android programming - Programmatically creating layouts & views in code
A once a week tutorial series where I will be teaching my wife, June android programming.
In this episode we concentrate on creating the RelativeLayout & TextView from code instead of using the xml layout file.
This gives June a good insight into how the activity selects its layout, how to create an object from it's class, familiarity with the layout parameters required by layouts & views, the extra methods provided by the RelativeLayout LayoutParams class for positioning views and how to add a view to a layout.
