Code & Optimism is a show focused on solving problems faster with software. This first episode gives a bit of background on myself, Shane Brinkman-Davis Delamore, as well as what the show will be about and why it's called "Code & Optimism."

Definitions discussed:
Knowledge: "Information with causal power" - David Deutsch
Code: Knowledge must be encoded into the physical world to have it's causal power - i.e. "code"
Software Professional: solves problems by creating and encoding knowledge into the physical world.
Optimism: All problems are solvable with enough knowledge.
