Normal (Standard) Filters:
Configuration Control: Normal filters offer more control over filter configuration. You can specify filter conditions, apply multiple filters to a worksheet, and control how they interact (e.g., AND or OR logic).
Performance: Normal filters provide better performance control because you can choose when to execute them. You can set filters to be applied at the data source, at query time, or at visualization rendering time, allowing for optimization.
Complex Filtering: Normal filters support complex filtering expressions, including logical operators and calculated fields, enabling you to create custom filter conditions.
Visibility: Normal filters are displayed in the "Filters" shelf, but they are not interactive controls by default. Users need to access the filter control panel to adjust filter criteria.
