In this fifth tutorial we cover how to create a 2D mesh from scratch in the open source Finite Element software solFEM_v3.

solFEM_v3 is written in python. You can use it to create basic meshes, or import meshes from text-files created in other software. You can also apply material properties, boundary conditions, multipoint constraints and loads before writing solution files which can be run through the solver. Finally you can load and view the results from your solutions.
