A conditional expression is a shorthand way to do an if-else statement. It has 3 operands separated by “?” and “:” and referred to as a ternary operator.

booleanExpression ? value1 : value2:

If the boolean expression is true, the value of the conditional expression is value1, otherwise it is value2.
