Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons).

Check this options:

1. In sql server configuration manager - Sql Server Agent is running.

2. Another web.config file in the LAYOUT folder in the hive you changed.

3. Check settings both the web.config file and IIS Folder

4. Web management services and windows process activation services in IIS - Start both if they are manual
