Hey Impressives! Today we're going to the second lesson of the Python Basics 2024 course so you can go from zero to mastering Python.

In this lesson we'll talk about strings and text functions in Python. Strings, for those who don't know, are text within Python, that is, a type of information.

You should know that we have numbers, but we also have text, which is very common data.

For this reason, it's very important that you know how to handle this text information, because it's not always in the format we want, so we need to perform some processing, and even to display final information we'll need this!

I want to show you how to manipulate text in Python, and for that we'll look at string operations, how to find elements within a text, and how to get the text length in Python.

I'll also show you how to replace text in Python, how to extract a piece of text, how to extract a character within the text, and we'll even look at numerical text formatting!

That's a lot of information, but don't worry, you don't need to memorize any of it.
