SDU Tools 148 Extract File Path Components using SQL Server T-SQL
SDU Tools are free tools and example T-SQL code for SQL Server developers and DBAs. There is a common coding requirement to take a full filename including its path, and to extract from that the filename, the file extension, and/or the folder path. These three T-SQL functions provide this capability.
