Java Wolfenstein 3D Game Engine implemented using only standard libraries (Java 2D, AWT, Swing & Java Sound API), so no external libraries required.

This engine uses the original game data from the Wolf3D Shareware version because it's free, but the project itself does not keep the assets, so you will still need to download the original game if you want to try it out. You just need to generate the runnable jar of this project and copy it to the wolf3d game directory.

All assets are extracted and converted properly on startup: sprites and HUD images are rearranged so they can be displayed correctly, IMF musics are interpreted and played natively in java using the built-in midi synthesizer. PC Speaker sounds are converted and played as PCM sounds. Unfortunately, the only part I still haven't been able to implement correctly is the Adlib sounds.
