Create Spring Boot project & add Dependencies

Open Spring Tool Suite, on Menu, choose File , New , Spring Starter Project, then input project’s info. Press Next then Finish, a Spring Boot project will be created successfully.

Open pom.xml, add needed dependencies: Spring JPA, Web MVC, MySQL Connector

Maven is a powerful project management tool
that is based on POM (project object model).
It is used for projects build, dependency and documentation.

It simplifies the build process like ANT.
But it is too much advanced than ANT.
