Hangman is a word-guessing game where one player thinks of a word, phrase or sentence and the other player(s) try to guess the word by suggesting letters one at a time. For each incorrect guess, a part of a "hangman" is drawn (e.g. a stick figure or a gallows), with the game ending either when the word is guessed correctly or when the "hangman" is completed. It is a popular game that can be played both verbally and as a board game or computer game.
