Mothers and Daughters Episode 12:
Gülizar (Feride Çetin) lives in Malatya with her husband and two children. While Gülizar is content with her situation, her husband Ferman wants to move to Istanbul and live there, hoping to provide a better life for his children. He has been in contact with a former army friend for some time. While at his sister Fatma's wedding, Ferman learns that he has found a job in Istanbul. They begin preparations to leave for Istanbul.
Defne (Ebru Özkan) lives in Istanbul. She enjoys a comfortable life with her husband Mehmet and daughter Yağmur. She has organized a big party for her daughter Yağmur's birthday.
Despite living different lives, their destinies change that same night, and their worlds are turned upside down. Defne is unaware of the plans made by her father-in-law Sacit Çakırcalı, who cannot accept her, and Gülizar is unaware of the decision the ceremony has made for her.
