DevOps is one of the most influential paradigms in the modern technology space. But it doesn't come even close to satisfy all needs of modern IT organisations. For example: It doesn't take into account the different requirements data pipelines have and the specific ways to monitor them. DataOps is the answer by combining DevOps methods with continuous delivery and statistical process control.
