Exploring Javascript Calculations in a Moodle Database Activity
This video explains how the javascript calculation was set up in this Moodle Database activity to automatically add up the number of hours of community service completed by the student. Each row is one entry representing one service event. Students had a target of hours to complete per term/semester and so the running total helped them to keep track of their time.
