In this tutorial, we will learn how to plot a pie chart in matplotlib Python programming language from scratch and of course with details.

We can use the "pie chart" to see how values are different from each other and compare them. To me, pie chart is a great tool for comparing multiple groups! For example, in this video, we have smartphone market share values for each brand, and we want to compare the market share of these brands together; so I'm telling you: the pie chart is a great tool in this case.
