Picking - Minimum Date Code and Hard Allocated Batch/Lot
Specification for our current solution showing how to use alternate picking locations.
Used in the following circumstances
Where the ERP has specified a specific batch number. Only locations containing that specified batch will be shown
Where the customer / order has a specific minimum date code requirement, we use colour coding to direct the pickers to the most appropriate batch to pick. This is quite common in food manufacturers or wholesalers dealing with Coles / Woolies.
