When working with forms in angular use of dropdown or select control is very common. When there is a set of values and you want to allow the user to select anyone from this set of collection, then we use dropdown control or select control.
In angular using dropdown control or select control is pretty straight. We can use standard HTML5 select control and then use ngModel or reactive forms to bind and get value of control.
Dropdown control or select control in angular is used with ngFor directive to repeat for on the collection for options with in dropdown control or select control.
