JAVA BEGINNERS 20 - Exception Examples
In this video, you learn exceptions. An exception is an anomalous or exceptional condition requiring special processing. In Java, there are checked and unchecked exceptions.
Checked exceptions are so called because they must be checked by the developer. This means the developer must show to be aware of the exception by using a try-catch block or by the keyword "throws". They happen at the compile time, i.e. before that the application has run.
Unchecked exceptions happen at the runtime when the compile process is already done. They are caused by some developer's errors. Since they are thrown at runtime, the developer must not show to be aware of the exception using a try-catch block or the keyword "throws".
