Shape tracking and Detection OpenCv Python
This video shows how a triangle can be tracked using OpenCV. We use the Canny edge detector to generate contours that are finally reduced to simple shapes. This method is more robust to noise and change in lighting conditions as compared to color based approaches. Our future aim is to use this algorithm to track a robot performing simple tasks in a plane.
