For this assignment you will use your multi-track mp3 paired with four videos to create a split-screen movie in Adobe Premier Pro.

Open Adobe Premier Pro
New Project - this title will be applied to the proprietary file that you can return to and edit.
Click on Media Library in (bottom left workspace) to add audio and video files.
be sure you have already edited your audio and your video to the EXACT length required for them to be lined up.
Drop video files into Timeline (bottom right workspace)
additional tracks will be automatically created as you drop in filed
you will see audio tracks created for each video
click on the [M] to the left of the track to mute the audio tracks for your videos
Drop audio file into Timeline beneath the existing audio tracks
Double check that your frame size is large enough
Top left menu choices -- Sequence -- Sequence Setting
Editing Mode = Custom
Frame Size = 1920 horizontal 1080 vertical
Click OK when the warning pops up
Move, resize, and crop each video
Be sure your Effects menu is opened on the far right
Double click on the video you see in the Playback workspace
Crop the video frame by selecting from the Effects menu -- Video Effects -- Transform -- Crop -- select and drag into Effect Controls Workspace
Add video Effects to the video from the Effects menu - Video Effects -- Dissolve (or whatever you chose) -- select and drag desired effect onto the start or end of track IN THE TIMELINE (not the Effects Control workspace)
Change duration of Effects by zooming in and hovering over the Effect until the red measuring stick pops up
If you don't see all your video, advance the cursor further into the playback timeline
Trim tracks using the Razor Blade tool in the Timeline tools menu, be you are inside the proper track
Create a Title over black background or inside the videos
Select Type [T] tool from Timeline tools.
Click anywhere in the screen in the playback workspace
Red text box will pop, start typing
Effect Controls workspace will allow you to change font, color (fill), etc.
Use Selection Tool in Timeline Workspace to move the text box
Use Video effects in the same way to give it transitions
Your title (captions) is a "Graphic" track in the timeline
When you are finished, File -- Export -- Media
File Format H. 264 (this is an .mp4)
File Output -- double click and change file name and location as needed
Export
