In-Memory versus Sqlite3 Database: Memory is FAST!
I'm briefly measuring the performance of the main database of my server and client apps, an in-memory database using maps of structs and a mutex for synchronization and the sqlite implementation I'm currently using. As expected, the in-memory DB is much faster but does that even matter?
