Breakout Exercise: Moving and Destroying Rectangles - pygame Tutorial #2
In the beginning I say triangle by accident but don't get confused, this video is all about rectangles. Breakout is a classic Atari game that requires the player to intercept a ball with a rectangle that he is controlling in the lower part of the screen and to hit other rectangles in the upper part of the screen.
Breakout was quite innovative for its time (1976) and today people often try to remake it when they are learning a programming language.
In this video I want to show my implementation of breakout and how to draw rectangles, destroy them and how to move a rectangle with keyboard buttons.
