Phase Kickback Part 2
In some controlled operations, final state of control qubit unexpectedly gets influenced by target qubit i.e. Relative phase of target qubit ends up in control qubit. This phenomenon is known as phase kickback because phase of the target got kicked up to control.
Three conditions to have ideal phase kickback effect:-
1. Some controlled operation is being performed
2. Control qubit is in state of superposition.
3. Target qubit ∣ψ⟩ is eigenvector of controlled unitary gate U.
ie. it should hold relation true:- 𝑈|𝜓⟩=𝜆|𝜓⟩ = e^{2𝑖𝜋𝜙}|𝜓⟩
