Unity Tips - 9 Slice Sprites
This is the first video in a series of tips we plan to release for Unity. In this video, we are going to look at how to create a 9 Slice Sprite. 9 Slice Sprite's are an image that is divided up into 9 slices as the name suggests.
An object in Unity that is configured to handle a 9 Slice Sprite can use the individual pieces to create an image of any size that maintains the basic original shape. This is easily seen with a UI Panel and that is what we'll use in our example.
What you'll need:
