Checking Numeric Data for Errors Using Excel
In this video we look at how to use Excel for thoroughly check numeric data values for errors or inconsistencies. We present an approach to (a) check whether the data matches one of a list of values that represent a "null" or "missing data" case; next, (b) we check for invalid numeric data; finally (c) we clamp the value to an acceptable range of minimum and maximum values.
This video is useful if you are using the JunoViewer ICC template. It is also useful for the new Juno-Cassandra (or "JCass") pre-processing workflow.
