Generate Password Script Version 2/4
This is the second in a series of four videos where we learn the Linux command line by writing Bash scripts. This video is for beginners looking to learn the Linux command line and/or Bash scripting. In this series we will be writing a script to generate a random password. Both files from this video are available on my GitHub page at https://github.com/bashed-onyt/passwd.... All work in the Linux command line terminal are done on Ubuntu 20.4 and should work for most versions of Ubuntu/Debian.
This video includes new concepts and commands such as Bash parameter expansion, functions, positional parameters, getopts, and file descriptor redirection.
