Ok so here we go.
basically you need to use the asteriks to begin the string filtration of the filenames in the folders.

Lets say I want to move all the files that have the string "bob" in them and this is our list of the files in the folder "X"

Folder X
bobkilledadeer.mpg
bobisawesome.jpg
bob.txt
awesomepicture.jpg

if you were want to copy all the files that contain the word "bob" in them you would do this

copy bob [and your path goes here]

all the files that have the string "bob" will be copied other files will be left untouched.
