Install Latest Version Python pip from GitHub Repository into Ubuntu 20.04
The pip version that Ubuntu gets from its repository is not the latest. This video demonstrates how to install the latest version of pip from the get-pip github page into Ubuntu 20.04. Also available with this video is a script that prepares an Ubuntu 20.04 desktop with a bash shell to download all dependencies required to get the latest pip version. The video demonstrates each line of the script. Finally pip is used to install jupyter notebook into the Ubuntu desktop.
