Knowing exactly when a function in your code is triggered is important and that is exactly what the debug method allows you to do. As soon as a function that you specify is called, the execution of the code will stop and you will be taken directly to that function.

Another awesome byproduct of that is that if your codebase has multiple files, and you are not sure where a certain function is located, you no longer have to ctrl+f through all the files to find it. Just use the debug method on that function and manually envoke the function in the console. You will be taken straight to the correct file. No more messing around. Great for all kinds of javascript debugging applications.
