Temporary operations
As a result of the line being divided into two sections by the unfortunate placement of a scaffolding baseplate the FeckHallBahn is effectively running as two separate railways.
These are Hornundtrompetebahnhof to the Rasenmäher Überfahrt Haltepünkt report board and Rasenmäher Überfahrt Haltepünkt to both Tiefeshorn and Kirschbaumimwald. Owing to another, separate scaffolding baseplate being placed extremely close to the line, actually impinging on the loading gauge, at Anborg Picnicplatz, the only locos that can get past are the GM’s Isetta and Smoll. As the former has no drawgear (yet…) Smoll is being used.
In today’s video we see the extra complexity involved with the evening milk train with each churn having to be handled 4 times as opposed to the usual 2.
Still, the railway’s motto of ‘Tacebitis et ignorare gemitus’ is certainly helpful and being interpreted literally.
