How Character Encoding Affects Web pages - Example
The above is a webpage whose HTML has a meta charset value of "ascii".
The contents of the webpage are written in English, Arabic, German, French, and Emoji Character(s).
The result are weird symbols with odd diacritic marks for languages other than English.
For correct rendering, "utf-8" can be used as the meta charset value.
