11. T-SQL WHERE CLAUSE + OPERATORS | Filter Data in TSQL | SQL Server | TSQL Tutorial
T-SQL (Structured Query Language) has been the primary language for accessing, storing, retrieving, and manipulating data in databases governed by Microsoft dbms tools such as SQL Server Management Studio or SSMS.
As greater amounts of data are being generated at rates faster than ever before in history. Skilled individuals are required, who have the ability to handle this data and use it to derive insights and provide value.
In this session, we will take you through the fundamentals of the WHERE CLAUSE in T-SQL. We will also look at the OPERATORS that can be used with the Where Clause.
The Where Clause in Transact SQL is used to filter data that is being extracted by the SELECT STATEMENT , or updated with UPDATE STATEMENT or deleted with the DELETE STATEMENT.
We can specify a single condition to filter data by or multiple conditions that work together logically. (More on this in the next video i.e. Part 12)
