Our mission is to calculate the average scores of the students who passed the exam.
And also, for the students who failed the exam.
To achieve that, we use the AVERAGEIF function.
To facilitate typing the formula, we’ve named the range.
Type = AVERAGEIF(
The criteria range is the scores.
The criterion is greater than 49.
The average range is the Scores range also.
Press Enter.
Copy the formula to the right.
Replace the greater than with less then.
Press Enter.
We’ve done the mission.
