Project 2 - An eBay-like e-commerce auction site that allow users to post auction listings, place bids on listings, comment on those listings, and add listings to a “watchlist.”
Specification:
00:00 - Models. My application has four models in addition to the User model: one for auction listings, one for bids, one for watchlist, and one for comments made on auction listings.
00:10 - Create Listing. User can click on any entry name to be taken directly to that entry page.
00:29 - Active Listings Page. The default route of the web application let users view all of the currently active auction listings.
00:38 - Listing Page. Clicking on a listing take users to a page specific to that listing. On that page, users can view all details about the listing.
00:58 - Listing Page. Users can add the item to their “Watchlist.” If the item is already on the watchlist, the user can remove it.
01:22 - Listing Page. User can bid on the item.
02:02 - Listing Page. If the user is signed in and is the one who created the listing, the user has the ability to “close” the auction.
02:38 - Listing Page. Users can add comments.
02:50 - Watchlist. Display all of the listings that a user has added to their watchlist.
03:00 - Categories. The page that displays a list of all listing categories.
03:16 - Django Admin Interface. A site administrator can view, add, edit, and delete any listings, comments, and bids made on the site.
