JAVA PROGRAMMING - CREATING THE ENVIRONMENT
This is a video series that I am making as part of my course on Learning to Program JAVA 17SE. Java comes in two flavours, the Standard Edition (SE) and the Enterprise Edition (EE). We will be using the standard edition throughout this series.
Although the series targets Civil Engineering Students, it will be helpful to anybody desiring to learn the language and automate processes. Mastering any programming skill is very important in process automation and digitization today. In this video, we will be creating the environment required to program in JAVA 17SE and introducing some basic concepts as the Java Runtime Environment, Java Development Kit, Java Virtual Machine and a brief introduction to IDE's.
We will be creating an environment that will enable us to write and execute programs on our personal computers. I have used the Windows 11 platform, which is similar to the Windows 10 platform.
