AWS Amazon Linux AMI - Apache Server Installation
Tutorial - Installation of Apache Server on Amazon Linux
Steps to be followed:
1) Create Amazon Linux EC2 Instance. Connect it with Putty.
2) To perform software package up to date, run below command.
sudo yum update –y
3) Install the Apache web server, MySQL and PHP software packages, run below command.
sudo yum install -y httpd24 php70 mysql56-server php70-mysqlnd
4) Start Apache Web Server, run below command.
sudo service httpd start
5) Use the chkconfig command to configure the Apache web server to start at each system boot, run below command.
sudo chkconfig httpd on
6) You can verify that httpd is on by running the following command.
chkconfig --list httpd
