How to create 2D Data Matrix Barcodes using the PRO 3 Version of the 2L Engraving Software Tutorial. Engrave 2D Data Matrix Barcodes (UID) on Standard 3 or 4 Axis CNC Milling Machines or Multi Axis Lathes. Perform Direct Part Marking (DPM). The software outputs standard g-code to control virtually any cnc machine.

The 2D DataMatrix barcodes can be produced using an engraving tool, the Spring Loaded Engraving Tool, or the CNC Dot Peen Marking Tool. The barcode marks that are created can be read or scanned using either a smartphone app or a barcode reader.
