SLOPE Coefficient Calculation Using Excel Function
To calculate the slope of a linear regression line using the Excel SLOPE function, you need to have two sets of corresponding data points – one for the independent variable (X-values) and another for the dependent variable (Y-values). In an empty cell, type "=SLOPE(" and then select the range of Y-values, followed by a comma. Next, select the range of X-values, close the parentheses, and press Enter.
